Archaeological Museum of Istria, Pula website

The Archaeological Museum of Istria in Pula houses 39 Egyptian artifacts. These artifacts can be divided in three large groups. The first group consists of fifteen artifacts connected to the worshippers of Egyptian cults in the Hellenistic and Roman periods. The artifacts of this group were found during archaeological excavations in the area of Istria and are associated with the cults of Serapis, Isis, Isis–Fortuna, Jupiter–Amon, Hathor, and Achelous. The second group consists of seven bronze artifacts of mostly votive character. The third group consists of seventeen artifacts, mostly Egyptian shabtis and amulets, that were part of the collection of an unknown Austrian donator.
